Brad Ferringer had been a family friend for years before Sarah actually met him. Brad spent time with her parents and eventually became good friends with her brother Scott. Brian and Heather (who had originally introduced Brad to the family) suggested a little get-together to get Brad and Sarah to meet. Though she was hesitant at first, she eventually gave in and her parents hosted a Christmas party in December of 2016 where Brad was invited.
It wasn't until a couple months later that Brad contacted Sarah and took her out to dinner at the Hamilton in downtown DC. After that evening, they became a couple and never looked back to the single life!
A year later Brad got tickets and a VIIP table to a "Frank Sinatra" show on Valentines Day at the music venue below the restaurant where they had their first date. "As the intermission was about to begin, the artist began walking around the room and then right to our table. He welcomed us both by name and handed Brad the microphone. Before the shock of what was happening could even set in, Brad apologized to the room for the interruption, got down on one knee, and pulled out a ring. I couldn't believe it... and of course I said yes!!!"
The entire room applauded as people were snapping pictures and taking video. One lady they didn't know caught the entire thing on video and emailed it to Sarah. She still can not believe he proposed so publicly but she will for sure... never forget!!!
They love to go out to new restaurants but also make it a point to cook at home a couple times a week with each other. In the summers they spend as much time as possible at Sarah's family's beach house in Virginia Beach. They absolutely love the water and this is one of the main reasons they chose Key West when it came time to plan a destination wedding!
The wedding day was picture perfect with beautiful blue skies and a slight breeze in the air. The couple exchanged vows oceanside in front of their family and friends at the exclusive Casa Marina Resort. Simply You Weddings and Milan Event perfectly executed the stunning floral and decor with gorgeous hues of gold and navy. Guests enjoyed the evening dancing the night away in the historic ballroom and a lot fo fun was had by all!
Another unforgettable night for this beautiful couple!
Congratulations to you and your families!
