Elisabeth Rockteschel and Oliver Barnes are Key West Conchs who went to high school together. Their very first date was prom and eventually became high school sweethearts.
In May of 2018 they graduated college and bought a house together. In July of the same year they were engaged to be married!
Elisabeth and Oliver have two mini dachshunds that are spoiled enough to be their children. The couple has always loved to travel and being at the beach together. So it was an easy decision to get married in their laid back beach town of Key West.
The wedding day was simply stunning. The gorgeous white orchid floral arrangements, bouquets, and table settings where grown for the wedding. All were designed by the Mother of the bride and family. No attention to detail was spared for this gorgeous wedding day. The couple opted for a First Look inside the fort for lovely photos and the ceremony directly followed at the point of Fort Zachary Taylor. Captain Finbar officiated and the conch shell was blow at the end. Truly a conch wedding at it's finest!
The Key West sunset did not disappoint. Immediately following the ceremony, the guests were delivered in Key West fashion on the Conch Tour Train to the fort where they enjoyed cocktail hour and listened to live music by the famous Rusty Lemmon.
The decor of the fort was stunning and guests enjoyed the night away with wonderful food, dancing, and of course cake!
Congratulations to you and your families!
