Sara Heathcote and Sid Suzor originally met through a mutual friend before a concert. Then met again at a friends 50th birthday party. They spent most of the party in the corner talking and decided to take a drive together where she asked what he wanted for the future. By the end of the drive it was clear they were totally in to each other. It was then that they had their first kiss.
On December 25th in 2018, Sid got Sara virtual headsets as a Christmas gift. As she was playing it in the chair, he knelt down in front of her with an engagement ring. He stayed there for about five minutes and waited for her anxiously to finish. She took of her headset, collected her vision, and finally saw him and the ring. She was startled that he was there but took a deep breath and of course said YES!
They enjoy being together at home drinking Irish whiskey, going to movies and bowling. They also love heading downtown St. Augustine to walk St George Street, dining out, and taking vacations. It was no surprise the two decided on a vacation wedding weekend!
Sara and Sid both agreed Key West was the best place to get married and Key West did not disappoint. The couple said "I DO" oceanside at the gorgeous Fort Zachary Taylor Beach in front of their friends and family. After the ceremony , the couple and guests were escorted in true Key West fashion on the Conch tour train to the the Bagatelle on the famous Duval Street. The guests were welcomed with hangover kits and a wonderfully created Alice in Wonderland theme! Guests enjoyed some stellar food and music by the top notch Rusty Lemmon. Everyone listened to music under the stars on the roof top cafe and enjoyed every moment of the celebration!
Congratulations to you and your families!
