Courtney David and Jeremy Loercher are locals who fell in love in trueKey West style – at a bar after a hard day’s work. Courtney, who has run the show for Sebago Watersports for over a decade and Jeremy, a seasoned fishing captain who moved here from Tampa via Little Cayman Island, were an instant match made in Cayo Hueso Heaven….aka Tattoo’s and Scars.
The happy couple was inseparable from the get-go and has been very busy making memories over their shared love for good music, food and time spent with friends and family. Many of whom were present the sunny morning of April 22, where the much anticipated nuptials between the mermaid and her captain took place at sea aboard the Marquesa sailboat.
Their families have grown close over the years and everyone was thoroughly excited when Jeremy popped the question by a bonfire on the Outer Banks. But none more so than Courtney, who got a beautiful ring and a lifetime partner in crime for her most memorable birthday thus far! Since then, the couple has acquired a sturdy and purdy boat for @Sea Charters, raised a sweet and sassy dog named Daisy, and planned an epic wedding during an awful an unpredictable year.
The stars finally aligned and allowed for an amazingly good time to be had by all who traveled near and far to celebrate their love. They exchanged vows off of Woman Key with the help of Cliff Cody, who officiated the ceremony and sang some songs that made dolphins join along! Their wedding day quickly turned into an unforgettable boat day where the water wasn’t the only thing that was crystal clear….clearly this pair was meant to be and grateful are all who were there – in person and in spirit. Cheers to many years of smooth sailing, teamwork and making each and every one of your dreams work!
