Kathryn Leonard and Andrew Deignan met online through a dating website. Katie had messaged Andrew but he took a few months to respond to her because he thought she was a scam account (beautiful woman messages guy etc). They decided to met at Yanni's in Ankeny, Iowa on a picturesque December (26th) night. They met and talked together until they were the last two in the restaurant while outside giant snowflakes fell form the sky on a wintery night in Iowa.
Fast forward a bit ... in September of 2019, at a fountain in the district in Ankeny they were engaged to be married. This fountain meant so much to Katie and Andrew because it was the centerpiece of the area where their blended family first met. Each child was handed a rose after they gave their blessing. At the end, Andrew approached Katie with her own rose, and on one knee asked her if she would be his forever. The rose was in fact a ring box! Of course she said yes.
The adventurous couple decided to come to the island of Key West, Florida to say I do! Quite the difference in landscape from their firsy snowy date night for sure!
Congratulations to you and your families!
