Hilda Ruano and Vladimir Petkovic met like many Key Wester's do... at Martini Monday at Virgillo's! After Vladimir and his friend struck up on a conversation, they later exchanged numbers.He called Hilda the next day and their love story began.

In August of 2015 Hilda and Vladimir where visiting Serbia when they were engaged. "We were in a town called Sabac. I was visiting Serbia for the first time. We were visiting a jewelry store, a store were his brother orders all his merchandise for his own store for a different town in Svornik, Bosnia. So then he simply said.. “which one would you like?” Lol not romantic AT ALL . Then I said none! They only had yellow gold and not real diamonds! So then he asked if they had white gold and real diamonds! So then the guy got “real” and pull them out from a different place. I chose the cutest ring and ....done. We were engaged!"

They decided to venture back and have their wedding where their love story began.... Key West! Hilda and Vladimir exchanged vows under a gorgeous canopy under the bright blue skies with their toes in the sand. Guests were greeted at Smather's Beach with parasols and ice cold water.Palm trees swayed back and forth as the bridal party made their way down the boardwalk. The bride carried a handmade shell bouquet with the help of YouTube, her sister and mother in law. :) The gorgeous navy blues were accented by the color of the ocean. Such a beautiful day with such thoughtful details.

After they became officially Mr and Mrs, wedding guests headed to the nearby mediterranean restaurant, Oasis.The newlyweds danced the night away, and enjoyed an evening of love, laughter, and happily ever after!
