Meredith + Tim Say I Do at Casa Marina in Key West!
Meredith Smith and Tim Hajek met in February of 2015 on Match.com. After messaging via the online site several times, they decided to meet in person at an outdoor bar in Florida. When the two met, it was love at first sight!
Two and a half years later, Tim surprised Meredith with a weekend getaway at the Boca Resort. He tried several times to propose on the beach, but because Meredith wasn't getting the message and was "too hot", they walked back to the hotel. His back up plan ended up being that he asked Meredith to get his swimsuit out of her bag. When she pulled it out, the ring was there and he got down on one knee. There in the cool air, she said yes!
When it came time to plan a wedding in the tropics, it was no surprise it would be a a winter wedding! Meredith and Tim were married here in Key West on December 15th. After a private First Look, the two were swept away to Casa Marina Resort with their wedding party. The couple exchanged vows oceanside in front of their friends and family. The beachside ceremony set up and gorgeous historic ballroom were decorated with lovely tropical florals by Milan Event. No detailed was spared on this gorgeous wedding day and the set up by Simply You Weddings was stunning.
